The City

Last weekend my dear little friend, Kerry, was in town and it was so wonderful seeing somebody from home!

I had fun chatting, laughing, and sight seeing - it almost felt weird showing her where I live only because I don't know a lot of history about places, how old the trees are, and things like that...we had to make a stop at Jamba Juice first and foremost, toured Old Sac for the afternoon, and had a bite of sushi for supper. Saturday morning we headed to San Francisco and did all sorts of touristy things like a double decker bus tour over the Golden Gate Bridge, rode the cable car, and took a ferry out to Alcatraz. It was so much fun and very much needed... friends like her are rare and I'm so thankful that she's been in my life for the last five years!

Here are a few pictures from the weekend in San Francisco:

Double Decker Bus Tour

Golden Gate Bridge lookoutM&K Market (Get it? Marcie & Kerry)

Lazy Sea Lions at Pier 39

Coit Tower and city from Lombard Street (the windiest street in town)
